Voucher Policy

These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to all SummerWine gift vouchers, discount vouchers, promotional vouchers, store credit vouchers, and digital codes (collectively, “Vouchers”) issued by SummerWine Pte. Ltd. (“SummerWine”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
By purchasing, redeeming, or using a Voucher, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs.
1. Voucher Types
Vouchers may be issued in the following forms:
Gift Vouchers: purchased by a customer to be gifted to another person.
Promotional / Discount Vouchers: distributed by SummerWine as part of marketing campaigns, events, customer service gestures, giveaways, or partnerships.
Store Credit Vouchers: issued for refunds, exchanges, goodwill credits, or other adjustments.
Each Voucher specifies:
- its value
- expiry date (if any)
- applicable products or exclusions
- usage limitations
2. Redemption
Vouchers may be redeemed only on SummerWine’s official store at SummerWine.shop.
(or other platforms explicitly stated on the Voucher).
Only one Voucher may be used per order unless otherwise stated.
Vouchers cannot be redeemed for:
- cash or cash equivalents,
- credit card payments,
- prior purchases,
- payment of shipping fees unless explicitly stated.
If the purchase value exceeds the Voucher value, the customer must pay the balance using available payment methods.
3. Validity & Expiry
Vouchers are valid only until the expiry date stated on the Voucher.
Expired Vouchers will not be extended, reissued, or refunded unless required by applicable law.
SummerWine reserves the right to set different validity periods depending on the type of Voucher.
4. Restrictions & Exclusions
Unless otherwise stated, Vouchers do not apply to:
- items on clearance or final sale,
- shipping fees, taxes, or add-on services,
- third-party marketplaces (Shopee, Lazada, etc.),
- NGO / community pricing programmes.
SummerWine may amend exclusions at any time for promotional reasons.
5. Non-Transferable & Non-Refundable
Vouchers are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be resold.
Lost, stolen, or damaged Vouchers will not be replaced.
SummerWine is not responsible for Vouchers used without the owner’s permission.
(Exception: corporate bulk-purchased gift vouchers may have separate written terms.)
6. Combination With Other Offers
Vouchers cannot be used together with additional discounts, promo codes, or member rewards, unless expressly stated.
Vouchers cannot be stacked or combined across multiple check-outs.
7. Minimum Spend & Usage Conditions
Some Vouchers may specify:
- a minimum spend requirement,
- product category restrictions,
- one-time use per customer,
- new-customer-only eligibility,
- redemption caps for campaigns.
All conditions will be displayed clearly on the Voucher or campaign page.
8. Order Changes & Cancellations
If you cancel an order paid using a Voucher, the Voucher amount will not be refunded in cash; instead, SummerWine may issue a replacement Voucher at its discretion.
If an order is returned or exchanged, only the amount actually paid in cash (after Voucher deduction) will be refundable where applicable.
9. Fraud & Misuse
SummerWine may reject, cancel, or deactivate a Voucher if:
- it is suspected to be fraudulent,
- it is duplicated, tampered with, or obtained illegally,
- it is misused in violation of these T&Cs or campaign rules.
SummerWine may also take further legal action where appropriate.
10. Changes to T&Cs
SummerWine reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be made available on SummerWine.shop.
11. Governing Law
These T&Cs are governed by and construed under the laws of Singapore.
Any disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Singapore.
